Acumen Health: Case Study
Before we even started building the Acumen Health website, we focused on giving the brand a strong, cohesive identity. We worked closely with the team to create everything they needed to present themselves confidently and consistently, both online and offline.
This included:
- Designing the core brand elements — Brand identity, colours, typography, and brand guidelines; so every touchpoint felt unified.
- Creating stationery like business cards, letterheads, and flyers that carried the brand into everyday use.
- Developing digital assets and banners for the website and in-clinic signage.
- Producing promotional materials such as table throws, branded giveaways, and signage for events to help them stand out in person.
- Designing social media templates so their online presence would feel polished, consistent, and easy to manage.
- Supporting the team with other branded items, including presentation templates, referral pads, and internal documents.
By putting all of this in place first, we made sure the website redesign had a strong foundation. With a clear brand identity and toolkit ready, we could focus on building an online experience that was not only visually consistent but also engaging, user-friendly, and true to Acumen’s personality.

The Process
Discovery & Research
We began by understanding the clinic’s mission, target audience, and business goals. This involved:

Information Architecture & UX Planning
Next, we mapped out the website structure and user experience:

- Focused on intuitive interactions for patients, making it easy to learn about services, contact the clinic, or book appointments.
Visual Design
Once the wireframes were approved, we developed the visual design:
